Anika has an extensive dance background, including:
Ballet - Performed with Joffrey Ballet, Ballet Tyler, University of Oklahoma, and Mountain Valley Dance
Modern - Performed with Tyer and Company, University of Oklahoma, and Contemporary Dance Techniques
Hip Hop - Performed with Contemporary Dance Techniques and started the Monte Vista High School Dance Team (now a CHSAA certified team)
She also has extensive experience in African, Flamenco, tap, jazz, Egyptian belly dance, Tribal belly dance, and contemporary dance. Anika has also taught many of these styles to students aging from 6 years to adult.
This unique dance background has led to Anika's own Tribal Fusion style. Many have called her style a combination of Tribal belly dance and popping and locking.
